Personal Data
Any data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data.
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual — names, contact details, identifiers, financial and health information, and more. Under the DPDPA, processing personal data triggers obligations around lawful basis, security and rights. The first step in any programme is finding it: see data discovery.
